Some of Mythea’s largest and most active player communities came together during the original Age of Dragons.
Now, The Age of Dragons is returning — and we would love you to return with it.
The next age of Mythea will be a special Heritage Age, recreating Eon 2, Age 5: The Age of Dragons, originally played in September 2022.
This was the age that introduced Dragonkind as a new race and Necromancer as a new personality, and it remains one of the most stable and fondly remembered versions of Mythea.
In a fitting piece of Mythean symmetry, we are about to begin Eon 3, Age 5. Before moving forward, we are travelling back to the original Eon 2, Age 5, complete with its familiar races, personalities and game dynamics.
What is returning?
• The original Age of Dragons races, personalities and bonuses
• Dragonkind and the Necromancer
• Seven-day Mythean months
• An 11-week age
• The wars, rivalries and kingdom camaraderie that made the age so memorable
The Heritage Age will run on the older, proven version of the game, providing a smoother and more reliable experience during busy periods of war. Meanwhile, work will continue behind the scenes on the modern Mythea server.
Whether you once led a kingdom, launched attacks in the middle of the night, planned wars with old friends or simply enjoyed building your province, this is the perfect age to return.

The original Age of Dragons brought together a much larger Mythea player base, filling kingdoms with familiar names, strong alliances and fierce rivalries. We would love to bring as much of that community back together as possible.
